Now hiring: GTAW welder (Colorado)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Jefferson County, Colorado. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day to day you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols 1+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
