MIG/MAG welder wanted in Whitley County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Whitley County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Six days a week, one day off.
