Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Walker County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Walker County, Alabama. On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
