Horticulturist — Medina County

Join our team: we are hiring a horticulturist in Medina County, Ohio. You will work at a private estate garden. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Your main tasks: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers Overtime paid at a premium rate.
