Banksman wanted in Kenosha County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves guide loads through tight openings into their final position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Rotating shifts.
