Now hiring: we are hiring a car painter in Gloucestershire, England. You will work at a dealership paint shop. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Day to day you will apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper.
