Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Washington County, Nebraska. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Day to day you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
