Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Your main tasks: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
