Press setter operator • Buncombe County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press setter operator in Buncombe County, North Carolina. You will be based on the press shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout 3+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
