Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in La Plata County, Colorado. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day to day you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
