Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Ketchikan Gateway Borough, Alaska. Day-to-day duties: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
