Join our team: CNC milling operator (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Ulster County, New York. You will be based in a toolroom. Your main tasks: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Full-time, day shift.
