TIG welder • Hertfordshire, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in Hertfordshire, England. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £14 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
