Heavy goods vehicle driver wanted in Gilpin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Gilpin County, Colorado. You will work in a refrigerated transport fleet. Day to day you will check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
