The role involves skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush.
