Steel fixer — Shiawassee County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Shiawassee County, Michigan. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Day-to-day duties: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
