We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment presser in DeSoto County, Florida. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases You will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; give each garment a final press before packing; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number.
