Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Chippewa County, Minnesota. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training On the job you will handle: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Part-time with flexible hours.
