Shuttering carpenter — Borough of Stockport

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Borough of Stockport, England. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites On a typical shift you will strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN). Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. £3,050 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends.
