Turning centre operator wanted in Portage County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Portage County, Wisconsin. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On a typical shift you will load and index turning tools in the turret; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $7,500 per project, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
