Now hiring: we are hiring an oven operator in Charleston County, South Carolina. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Food handler / hygiene certificate • 2+ years' experience as a baker The role involves knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; score the top of loaves before baking; load and unload the deck oven with a peel.
