Aluminium TIG welder — Oglala Lakota County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Oglala Lakota County, South Dakota. You will be based on a structural steel site. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day-to-day duties: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec 3+ years on the tools preferred.
