Advanced scaffolder wanted in Suffolk County

Join our team: we are hiring an advanced scaffolder in Suffolk County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level Day to day you will erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
