Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Darlington, England. The job is on a high-rise building site. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Rotating shifts.
