Great opportunity: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in City of Fairfax, Virginia. You will work on a residential housing development. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts Ideal candidate: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Part-time with flexible hours.
