Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The role involves: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Overtime paid at a premium rate.
