Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Columbiana County, Ohio. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding On the job you will handle: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits.
