Paint and prep technician — Archuleta County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Archuleta County, Colorado. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale On the job you will handle: • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch 5+ years on the tools preferred.
