Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Livingston County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test The role involves: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints 2+ years on the tools preferred.
