Stainless steel welder wanted in Grant County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Grant County, Kansas. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
