Natural gas fitter — Macon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Macon County, Illinois. You will work at a busy gas installation company. What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations You will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
