Now hiring: we are hiring a power press operator in Jefferson County, Illinois. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On the job you will handle: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Meals and transport allowance provided.
