Vacancy available: we are hiring a baker in City and County of Swansea, Wales. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics On the job you will handle: • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity Part-time with flexible hours.
