Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Saint Clair County, Illinois. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On the job you will handle: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
