Garment machinist wanted in Maricopa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Maricopa County, Arizona. You will work at a busy garment factory. You will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
