Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Kingman County, Kansas. The role involves laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
