Shuttering and concrete hand • Boone County, Indiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Boone County, Indiana. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. On the job you will handle: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
