Day-to-day duties: • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
