Site safety steward • Ellsworth County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Ellsworth County, Kansas. You will work at a manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
