Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble fitter in Fayette County, Illinois. The job is in a stone processing yard. Your main tasks: • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site You should have: • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding Full-time with occasional weekends.
