Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Lassen County, California. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. Day to day you will install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. Requirements: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
