Heavy goods vehicle driver • Jefferson County, Ohio

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Jefferson County, Ohio. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. You will reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading. Requirements: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Current Driver CPC qualification card Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
