Scullery hand — Adair County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scullery hand in Adair County, Kentucky. You will be based in a hospital canteen. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates The role involves: • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
