Now hiring: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Chaffee County, Colorado. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
