Bar bender and fixer • Hyde County, South Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Hyde County, South Dakota. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. You will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
