Gas commissioning technician • Monterey County, California

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Monterey County, California. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. You will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. You should have: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing 6+ years on the tools preferred.
