Now hiring: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Meigs County, Ohio. The job is in a mirror and glass showroom. You should have: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Own basic hand tools an advantage The role involves: • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame 5+ years on the tools preferred.
