Urgent requirement: brick and block layer (Mississippi)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Choctaw County, Mississippi. Day to day you will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours.
