Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Glasscock County, Texas. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways The role involves: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators Part-time with flexible hours.
