Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Mahnomen County, Minnesota. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On a typical shift you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel.
